Warranty & Refund Policy

9, Warranty

9.1 If you believe that your product is faulty or damaged, in addition to your rights as a consumer under New Zealand Consumer Law, the GJ Furniture Ltd’s Warranty may apply to you.

9.2 This Warranty covers the replacement or repair of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used. This Warranty is not transferable and does not cover products used for commercial purposes. This Warranty does not cover finishing (including stitching, glue, nails, tacks, colour change, fade and mold). Because furniture is made by hand with natural material like wood and stone, so they are unique in each piece. In a certain aspect, one cannot find a perfect piece by some kind

9.3 Warranty (if any) is only valid when the Goods are used within New Zealand. Goods which were bought for commercial or overseas use are not covered by the warranty.

9.4 This Warranty does not apply to any products sold as seconds, floor stock, repaired products or products that have a defect where this has been drawn to your attention before you purchased the products.

10,  Cancellations and Refunds

10.1 Those "customised order or supply by order" items are not to be changed, cancelled, returned, swapped, or refunded once it is start to manufacture.

10.2 For hygiene reasons, mattresses, mattress topper and beddings cannot be returned once the packaging has been removed or used.

10.3 The Customer agrees there is no refund if they change their mind. The Customer is responsible for careful selection of Goods (e.g. goods fit into the customer’s house).

10.4 Any cancelled orders, where stock is accepted back, will incur a restocking fee of 15% of the Price. Goods if accepted for return must be in as new and saleable condition.

10.5 THERE WILL BE NO CASH REFUND. All refund will be refunded by internet transfer into the provided account through email. Please email us to inform your refund details including invoice number, item(s) to be refunded, account name and number to receive the refund. Please note that we cannot refund to credit card.
